ASALCA (Asociación Salvadoreña Canadiense) is a nonprofit organization based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, that seeks to empower Salvadoran-Canadians to improve their political, economic well-being and promote their civic participation as Canadian Citizens. In accordance with this mission, ASALCA, through partnering organizations, links Salvadorans to access legal and settlement related and educational services to meet the needs of our community.
To empower Salvadoran Canadians in Toronto to fully participate in Canadian society by fostering their political and economic wellbeing and promoting their cultural values and historic memory; whilst supporting community development and sustainable initiatives in El Salvador.
Vision
Salvadoran Canadians are active citizens, fully participating in Canadian society (economically, politically, socially), promoting their Salvadoran culture, and maintaining the Salvadoran’s historical memory.
