Programa Medios de Vida (Youth Project of the Livelihoods Program)

A group of five people stand together smiling indoors beside a banner that reads “Medios de Vida Sostenibles para la Juventud.” Three people wear white shirts with the same logo, while one person hands a paper to another. The setting appears to be a community or workshop space with tiled floors and white walls.

Our most recent collaboration is carried out with the purpose of supporting La Fundacion Prodesarrollo de las Comunidades de Arcatao and Nueva Trinidad “Mártires del Sumpul,” specifically the Youth Project of the Medios de Vida Program, which promotes training processes aimed at strengthening entrepreneurial skills and other abilities that provide young people with the tools they need to achieve their goals. This program represents an opportunity for personal and economic growth.

The Salvadoran Canadian Association of Toronto (ASALCA) is pleased to be part of this initiative, which is focused on the development and empowerment of youth, as well as the strengthening of the communities in this region of Chalatenango.
